Police Log: Dump Truck Rolls Over on I-495, No Injuries Reported

Thursday, May 29

At 10:03 a.m., Milford Police received a report of an erratic driver on Countryside Drive, where a blue vehicle was seen driving all over the roadway and slamming on the breaks. 

At 10:21 a.m., police responded to the area of the EZ Car Wash on East Main Street on a report of a motor vehicle accident involving possible injuries. 

At 10:55 a.m., police responded to a report of a minor motor vehicle accident on Luby Avenue. 

At 11:19 a.m., a Tina Road resident reported receiving a suspicious call from inside her house and believed someone may have been inside the home. 

At 12:35 p.m., police received a report of small amounts of smoke coming from a house on Water Street due to a pot catching on fire. Milford fire crews responded and ventilated the home. 

At 12:57 p.m., police responded to the area of Parker Hill Avenue and West Street, where two dirt bikes were reported in the roadway. Upon arrival, police arrested Jeffrey Vanzile, 31, of Milford, for larceny from a building and larceny of more than $250. 

At 1:07 p.m., police responded to East Main Street on a report of a two-car accident involving no injuries. 

At 2:09 p.m., police received a report of a Black Honda Odyssey driving erratically in the area of West Street, where the vehicle reportedly almost caused and accident and the driver was seen throwing trash out of his window. 

At 2:15 p.m., police received a report that a black SUV was seen with its airbags deployed while on Ari's Way, though no one was present near the vehicle. Police determined it was a involved in an accident  earlier in the day. 

At 2:52 p.m., Milford Police and Fire crews responded to a report by Massachusetts State Police that a dump truck had rolled over on Rte. I-495 southbound near Exit 19. No injuries were reported, according to State Police
