These are selected items from the Milford police log of April 27-28.

Police Log: Suspicious Vehicles, Extra Patrols

In the overnight police log, officers checked out several reports of suspicious activity or vehicles. And patrols were increased in an area of town where two brush fires were reported earlier in the week.

Wednesday, April 27

2:41 p.m.: A hit-and-run was reported in the parking lot of . No injuries were involved. A tan sedan was seen leaving the parking lot.

3:05 p.m.: A man called to report he had a tire and rim stolen from his car the previous night, on Colonial Road.

3:31 p.m.: Extra patrols were assigned to the area of upper West Street, following reported in the area.

5:45 p.m.: A woman walked into police headquarters to file a report about a domestic problem.

7:15 p.m.: A live wire was reported down on National Street. The wire belonged to Verizon.

8:05 p.m.: A woman asked police to record a log entry after she waited for more than an hour, in the parking area of , for her former husband to drop off her child. He was supposed to be there at 7 p.m., she told police.

8:30 p.m.: A caller at reported a suspicious vehicle parked in the back lot, and occupied by a man, for more than four hours. Police checked. The man was a hotel guest.

9:06 p.m.: Someone called from near , to report suspicious activity. Several people were in the back of the school, “loading things into a truck.” Police investigated and found it was employees throwing items away.

10:27 p.m.: A caller told police he had received a suspicious phone call, and went to check his store on Central Street. On arrival, he heard strange noises in the basement. He asked police to check the building.

11:56 p.m.: Police received a noise complaint from Oliver Street, regarding loud music and glass breaking. Police arrived but could not find a disturbance.

 Thursday, April 28

7:54 a.m.: An officer at Milford High School spoke with a driver of a Chevrolet Cavalier about a loud muffler.

8:19 a.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop, police arrested Sergey V. Minayev, 38, of 212 Fisher st., Apt. A17, North Attleboro, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and missing registration sticker.

11:47 a.m.: A woman asked for a log entry to document her complaint that a former boyfriend is harassing her, and possibly stalking her.

12:35 p.m.: Vandalism was reported at Milford High School.
