Not Your Average Joe's Promotes Jeff Tenner to Head of Food and Beverage and Adds New VP of Culinary Operations
Founder and CEO of Not Your Average Joe's, Steve Silverstein, announced a promotion and a new hire for the 21-location restaurant group
MILTON, Mass. - Founder and CEO of Not Your Average Joe’s, Steve Silverstein, announced a promotion and a new hire for the 21-location restaurant group, both effective immediately.
Executive Chef Jeff Tenner, who joined Not Your Average Joe’s in September 2013, has been promoted to head of Food and Beverage as Vice President of Food and Beverage, while continuing to serve as Executive Chef. Tenner, a veteran of similar positions at Bertucci’s and Legal Sea Foods as well as leading recipe and product development teams for Whole Foods Market’s. Tenner was chef/owner of two Portsmouth, NH, restaurants, where his innovative approach earned recognition by the legendary James Beard House.
New to Not Your Average Joe’s is Chris Gatto who assumes the responsibilities of Vice President of Culinary Operations. Gatto joins Not Your Average Joe’s after 12 years as SVP of Food and Beverage at UNO. Gatto earned an Associate of Science Degree in Culinary Arts, a Bachelor of Science in Food Marketing and a Master of Arts Teaching/Foodservice from Johnson & Wales University.
