Police Log: Hit & Run, OUIs and Intimidating a Witness

Thursday, Nov. 10

3:58 p.m.: arrested 43-year-old Marlene M. Garcia of 13 West Hill Park Apt. 13 after she reportedly had a warrant out for her arrest for allegedly receiving stolen property valued at over $250, police said. 

9:40 p.m.: A motor vehicle stop at 4 Church Street resulted in the arrest of 25-year-old Robert C. Backman Jr. of 20 Church St. Backman was charged with OUI liquor, marked lanes violation and a motor vehicle lights violation, police said.


Saturday Nov. 11

2:47 p.m.: Police attempted to serve a warrant to Jeffrey A. Letizia, 24, of 21 Fiske Ln. and put him under arrest. Letizia had two default warrants out, according to police—one from Hopkinton District Court for Larceny over $250 and one out of Framingham for allegedly breaking and entering a motor vehicle, according to police.

8:11 p.m.: An individual called into the police station to report a man allegedly yelling on the phone, which led to the arrest of a 42-year-old Natick man. Police arrested John Daniel Wilson of 6 Harvard St. Apt. 2F and charged him with possession of a Class C drug (Lorazepam), police said.

9:11 p.m.: Police responded to an alleged hit and run incident at 1 Second St. (Lakeview Gardens) and arrested Laura E. Tognacci, 46, of 19 Lakeview Gardens Apt. 901. She was charged with OUI liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of property damage, according to police.

9:28 p.m.: An individual called the Natick Police to ask for assistance with a person that was allegedly out of control. They arrested Jennifer Michelle Yancey, 26, and charged her with assault and battery, intimidating a witness and resisting arrest, according to police.


Sunday, Nov. 12

1:10 a.m.: A motor vehicle stop near McDonald's on Route 9 resulted in the arrest of a 47-year-old Boston woman who was allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol. Susan Crossley Alexander of 411 Massachusetts Ave. Apt 1 was charged with OUI liquor, second offense, according to police.

1:41 p.m.: Luiz Pedro Fernandes, 53, of 9 Weld St. Apt 49 was pulled over at 133 Hartford St. and 1 Porter Rd. and was charged with allegedly operating a motor vehicle without a license and failure to signal at an intersection, according to police.

4:24 p.m.: Clauso Souza, 39, of 154 Grant St. was arrested at the and charged with disorderly conduct, and attempting to commit a crime, according to police.
