WATCH: Person Obsessed With Instagram Figure; Go Ask Wally
This week, Wally helps someone who is obsessed with Instagram, and a certain account focusing on a bunny. Plus, watch Wally jump wildly.

NATICK, MA - He’s a bonafide Internet sensation, and probably the biggest bunny celebrity to hit social media. Wally the Bunny has 217,000 followers on Instagram, and he’s been featured in numerous media outlets, including People Magazine, CNN, Good Morning America and the Boston Globe.
Now, Wally (and Molly) assist and entertain Patch readers each week with the advice column “Go Ask Wally.” Each week, we’ll field questions from readers, and pick the most interesting one, with Wally answering one question each Monday on Natick Patch.
QUESTION: Hi Wally, this is Yingji. Recently I found myself obsessed with a very cute bunny on Instagram (hint, hint). I have been checking his Instagram account almost every hour hoping to get a new update, I sometimes stare at his photo for minutes, grinning from ear to ear. And if I don't see any update from him for a couple of days, I get worried and cannot seem to concentrate on my work. I am a very busy software engineer and this is starting to affect my work performance, can you please suggest how to fix this? Thanks.

ANSWER: Hi, Yingii! It’s ME, Wally! A very cute bunny on Instagram?! How peculiar! Whoever could that BE? Wow! A busy software engineer? What an exquisite career! While I don’t deal in software, I am a soft-hare. So I certainly can relate.
This bunny you speak of sounds simply magnetic! Whether he dominates your screen or disappears for days, he occupies a powerful presence in your life – like a royal and majestic king! He sounds like the kind of bunny who would sport magnificent capes! You know, Yingii, it is every bunny’s dream to be loved and admired, but how tragic that he’s affecting your work performance! He has invaded your life and we must devise a revolt against his powerful reign.
If this bunny has any Instagram manners at all, he likely posts once or twice per day. If there is a rare postless day, don’t worry! Perhaps he’s recovering from eating too many bananas, untangling his emotions in his journal, or maybe he’s just at a sleepover. He will be back! To reduce your preoccupation with his account, create some rules for yourself. For example, choose two or three specific times during the day to check his feed, limit your visits to five or ten minutes during the workday, or plan to complete a specific task before enjoying an Instagram break. Perhaps you could create a viewing schedule that motivates you to accomplish work goals and efficiently finish your projects. Establish guidelines that work for you! Do not fear that you will “miss” anything; Instagram posts are extremely durable and loyal creatures. Day or night, rain or shine, flowers or weeds, puddles or ponds they persevere and survive. Rest assured they will patiently wait for you until you are ready to meet them.
Your other option is to project the bunny’s Instagram account onto a giant screen in a central location of your workplace, showcase dozens of giant cutout posters throughout your office hallways, and install a golden statue of him on the front lawn of your building. But Yingii? I worry that this option may be impractical. Please instead follow my first recommendation. In the blink of an eye and a binky of the bunny, you will regain your productivity, allowing your software engineering talents to shine!
