Newton Construction Firm Expands Into New Hampshire

Chapman Construction/Design recently opened a second office in Manchester.

NEWTON, MA – Newton-based construction group Chapman Construction/Design is expanding into New Hampshire with the opening of its second office in Manchester.

The new location will serve Chapman's northern market partners and clients and will be managed by Senior Vice President John Ferreira, a 25-year veteran of the firm and longtime New Hampshire resident. Ferreira has managed some of Chapman's top clients, including Boston University, Raytheon and Nuance Communications.

Chapman decided to build its second office in Manchester due to more than a quarter of its workforce living north of Lowell. Until now, all of the group's work has been managed from the Newton headquarters.

"We are committed to bringing Chapman’s high standards, culture, and ‘Exceed Expectations’ philosophy to New Hampshire, while strengthening existing relationships and developing new partnerships."

The firm has several contracts in northern Massachusetts and New Hampshire, including Dell, Velcro, HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital, The CrossPoint Towers, Edgewood Retirement Community and Converse. It is currently developing manufacturing facilities in Manchester for Velcro.
