Lamar Odom Found Unconscious in Nevada Brothel

Former University of Rhode Island basketball star Lamar Odom was found unresponsive in a Las Vegas brothel on Tuesday night and is fighting for his life at the hospital, according to reports.

TMZ Sports reported that Odom, 35, fell unconscious at the Love Ranch South in Pahrump, Nevada, where he reportedly had been partying for several days.

Nye County Sheriff Sharon Wehrly said that Odom was transported to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas for treatment after a planned airlift was scrapped due to his size.

The incident was reported at 3:15 p.m. by an employee of the brothel requesting an ambulance.

Odom was a star player for the URI Rams and was drafted in the first round by the Los Angeles Clippers in the 1998 NBA draft.

He played on the 2009 and 2010 Los Angeles Lakers championship teams.

Odom last played professionally in 2014 for the New York Knicks.

His personal life has made headlines over the years, notably after he married Khloé Kardashian in 2009 and starred in a short-lived reality show alongside his wife before their 2013 divorce.
