At 3:26 a.m., an officer spoke to a man walking in the rain at Freedom Drive and Park Street. The man was walking from his grandmother’s house in Peabody to his home in Reading. Police transported him to his home.
At 5:16 a.m., police notified Wilmington Department of Public Works about flooding on Lowell Road in that town.
At 9:03 a.m., a driver reported a large pothole on Concord Street. The Department of Public Works responded and filled the holes.
At 2:09 p.m., police responded to a two-car accident at Oakdale Road and Park Street. There were no injuries. Both cars were towed.
At 10:43 p.m., police received a call from Elm Street after a driver struck and killed a deer.
Tuesday, April 1
At 5:50 a.m., a Flint Street resident reported someone entered an unlocked vehicle and stole several items.
At 7:48 a.m., a Mount Vernon Street resident reported someone entered her vehicle overnight.
At 2:33 p.m., police were told that a man was slumped over in his car in the Walmart parking lot. Police spoke to the man who was taking a nap.
At 11:15 p.m., police placed an intoxicated 25-year-old South Boston man into protective custody after a report of an uncooperative customer at Great American Tavern.
Wednesday, April 2
At 8:10 a.m., a Pine Avenue resident reported a suspicious man looking at houses. The man left before police arrived.
At 12:54 p.m., a North Reading resident reported a hacking incident. Police took a report.
At 2:10 p.m., police received a call about a man riding a motorcycle with his a dog on the back at Winter and Park streets. Police were unable to locate the motorcyclist.
At 5:41 p.m., police spoke to two Verizon solicitors and informed them that they must register with police.
