Breaking and Entering, Assault in Norton Police Log: Sept. 8 - 9

Saturday, Sept. 8
2:49 a.m.: Gateway Lane, breaking and entering of a residence. Caller reports someone attempted to break into their house. Caller reports saw someone run off on foot, no vehicle seen. No damage to residence, minor damage to furniture, report taken. Area search negative.
5:40 p.m.: Mansfield Avenue, assault. Walk-in reports past assault at her place of employment.
8:47 p.m.: Elm Street, domestic disturbance.


Sunday, Sept. 9
12:08 a.m.: W. Main Street, general disturbance. Caller reports loud party. Request officers to shut it down. Party has been advised.
1:25 a.m.: W. Main Street, general disturbance. Caller reports party that she reported earlier has resumed. Party advised again.
12:56 p.m.: Larson Farm Drive, domestic disturbance.
1:14 p.m.: Freeman Street, motor vehicle accident. Two cars. Less than $1,000 in damage. Both cars off the road.
1:30 p.m.: Mansfield Avenue, minor motor vehicle accident.
4:57 p.m.: S. Washington Street, suspicious condition. Caller reports possible drunk driver. Reporting party was behind him since S. Washington Street, and reports car was swerving into the breakdown lane and crossing marked lanes. All Norton cars advised. Area search negative.
