NORWOOD - Now in its 41st year, the Ten Outstanding Norwood Youth (TONY) awards has continued to annually recognize Norwood residents in grades 10-12, who make significant contributions of time, effort, and talent to volunteerism, church, and other charitable causes.
This marks the 16th year the Norwood Masons have been involved in running the program and hosting an annual awards banquet in honor of the nominees. Students must reside in Norwood, but can attend schools outside of the town. They are nominated by an adult. To complete their nomination they must answer five questions, including a 300-word essay on what community service means to them.
