This is a physical, fast-paced position that involves continual lifting, lowering and sliding packages that typically weigh 25-35 lbs. and may weigh up to 70 lbs. The IT Team Leader is responsible for managing the activities of a highly active team, providing technical services to internal or external customers on high level problems related to desktop, laptop and network systems. Requires a hands-on approach and the technical expertise; to identify, prioritize and confirm problem resolution. Ensures all phases of desktop support including hardware/software installation and upgrade, operating system configuration and device builds are effectively coordinated, monitored, tracked and delivered within defined SLA. Leads and develops staff; with an aptitude to work at ground-level to provide technical support to customers, as needed. Provides strategic management and defines objectives for the department. Solid project management skills a must, with the ability to manage and deliver multiple high profile projects concurrently.
