Drugs, Guns Confiscated After Police Arrest Two in Lowell Street Residence

Multiple law enforcement agencies descended on a Lowell Street home early Friday morning to arrest two people, including a juvenile, who police say have been involved in “high volume business activities.”

Police arrested Steven Bossler, 35, and charged him with trafficking a Class A substance and possessing a Class B substance to distribute, and a 17-year-old and charged the teen with possessing a Class A substance, possessing a Class B substance and possessing a Class C substance.

Police confiscated heroin, cocaine and several replica handguns and a replica assault rifle at the scene.

As a result of confidential information and anonymous tips received through the Peabody Police Tip411, via MdPd, police executed a search warrant at 135 Lowell St., Apt. 2, at 5 a.m. Friday.

Before Friday’s arrests, detectives conducted surveillance and found the residence was “engaged in high volume business activities.” Police said they saw 30 to 40 vehicles visiting the residence on a daily basis.

The investigation was led by the Peabody Police Criminal Investigations Division, in conjunction with the North Eastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council (N.E.M.L.E.C.) S.W.A.T., the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, Salem Police K-9 Unit and members of the Danvers, Salem and Ipswich Police departments.

Bossler will be arraigned in Peabody District Court on Friday. The juvenile will be processed through Salem Juvenile Court.
