Harvest Art Festival Shows Off Students' Creativity This Weekend
Young Peabody artists are showing off their work at Brooksby Farm this weekend and you can stop down in your Halloween costume for some fun activities for kids.

The second annual Harvest Art Festival, Drawn to Brooksby is Saturday from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the farm. It's all free. The event is sponsored by GreenPeabody, the Peabody Public Schools, Brooksby Farm and the Peabody Institute Library.

Student art created by Peabody pupils in grades K-12 includes paintings, drawings, photography and sculptures, which will all be displayed in galleries inside the farm's greenhouses.

GreenPeabody says the event is intended to give aspiring young artists a chance to show off their talents and inspire their peers to pursue creative projects.

There will be an art activity for children, live entertainment, refreshments and, of course, Halloween costumes are strongly encouraged.

In case of rain, the festival will be Nov. 2 (same time). Brooksby Farm is located at 54 Felton St.
