At 2:59 p.m., police arrested Starmeka Monique Kelly, 30, 21 Caller St., Apt. 211, Peabody, and charged her with operating a motor vehicle without a license, receiving stolen property less than $250, failing to stop/yield and a U-turn violation. Police made the arrest during a traffic stop on Andover Street.
At 3:16 pm., a Ruth Avenue resident reported a person shot a BB through a window. Police took a report.
At 3:36 p.m., a person reported that a group of youths yelled at him and threatened him. Police arrived, but the group of youths had already left.
At 4:59 p.m., police told swimmers at Spring Pond that there is no swimming and that they were trespassing.
At 5:03 p.m., a Rockdale Avenue resident reported her car was stolen.
At 5:35 p.m., H&M reported three shoplifters. The store handled the matter.
At 7:02 p.m., police told an Upham Street resident that basketball nets should not be on a public way and asked them to not play after dark.
At 8:48 p.m., a Griffin Road resident reported that her son’s bike was stolen.
At 10:14 p.m., a person on Railroad Avenue reported a vehicle with sheets over the windows and a man with his feet sticking out the window. Police spoke to the man, who was sleeping when they arrived. He told police his vehicle doesn’t start.
At 11:51 pm., a person reported that a cell phone was stolen from a Route 1 business.
Wednesday, June 25
At 8:58 a.m., police responded to Andover Street after a catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle.
At 10:51 a.m., police summonsed a 23-year-old Somerville man to court and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Police summonsed the man during a traffic stop at Walnut and Oakland streets.
At 12:02 p.m., police received a call from Endicott Street after a person left paint cans and chemicals on a front lawn. The resident caught it on home surveillance. Police spoke to the person who left the items. He said he missed the trash pickup and thought he could put it in his neighbor’s trash. He picked up the items.
