At 2:18 p.m., police arrested Steven N. Cunha, 26, 36 Proctor St., Peabody, and charged him with two counts of assault and battery, breaking and entering in the daytime for a felony, trespassing and attempting to commit a crime. Police made the arrest after responding to a report of a woman screaming. Cunha reportedly jumped out a window and fled the area, but police arrested him near Washington Street.

At 3:19 p.m., a Lynnfield Street business reported receiving five vulgar phone calls.

At 4:29 p.m., a taxi driver reported that a person ran out of his cab without paying the fare on Veterans Memorial Drive. Police were unable to locate the person who fled.

At 4:38 p.m., police notified the Department of Public Services about multiple potholes on Lincoln Road.

At 5:15 p.m., police arrested Joyce M. Petersen, 45, 129 Lowell St., Apt. 6, Peabody, and charged her with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, leaving the scene of personal injury, leaving the scene of property damage and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Police made the arrest after a report of a car trying to strike a person and then hitting another vehicle at Lahey Medical Center.


Tuesday, March 4

At 10:05 a.m., police arrested Elvis A. Perez, 39, 28C Federal St., Apt. 3, Salem, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, a number plate violation, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Police made the arrest during a traffic stop on Lowell Street.

At 10:32 a.m., police arrested Lindsay L. Consoli, 25, 51 Bartholomew St., Peabody, and charged her with warrants for two counts of larceny less than $250, attempting to commit a crime and possessing a Class A drug. Consoli turned herself in at the Peabody Police Department.

At 1:28 p.m., a Lowell Street resident reported a missing Calico cat named Stacy. The cat is declawed and is not wearing a collar.

At 1:49 p.m., police issued four handicapped space violation tickets at the Northshore Mall.

At 1:51 p.m., police summonsed an 18-year-old Brockton teen to court and charged her with shoplifting after a report of a shoplifter at H&M.
