Police Log: Police Make Two Arrests

Wednesday, Feb. 5

At 3:42 p.m., police summonsed a 41-year-old Chelsea man to court and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and failing to stop/yield. Police pulled over the man on Washington Street.

At 6:03 p.m., police responded to Main and Pierpont streets about a two-car accident. There were no injuries. Police requested a plow to the area because of the road conditions.

At 7:42 p.m., police responded to Lakeland Park Drive concerning a bomb threat. Peabody Police and a State Police K9 unit searched the area and did not find any bombs.


Thursday, Feb. 6

At 12:57 a.m., a Lowell Street resident reported a possible prowler with a flashlight in another home. Police responded and found it was the homeowner – not a prowler.

At 7:42 a.m., police responded to a hit-and-run accident on Andover Street. An unknown vehicle struck a parked car and then left the area. The parked car was towed.

At 9:35 a.m., a Paleologos Street resident reported people videotaping the area. Police responded, but did not find anyone.

At 10:15 a.m., police arrested Sarah A. Hames, 34, 1A MacArthur Circle, Peabody, and charged her on a warrant, failing to stop for police and operating a motor vehicle with an expired license. Police made the arrest on MacArthur Road.

At 10:44 a.m., a Peabody resident reported that his mother’s social security has been compromised and someone deposited money into a debit card. Police took a report.

At 1:03 p.m., police received a call about a loose husky dog at Wallis and Elm streets. Police were unable to locate the dog.

At 1:21 p.m., police arrested Jake D. Mastromarino, 19, 11 Willowbrae Dr., Peabody, and charged him on a warrant for assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Police made the arrest on Willowbae Drive.
