At 2:47 p.m., larceny at Higgins Middle School reported. Walk-in reported stolen cellphone.
At 5:44 p.m., recovered stolen vehicle on Trask Road. Vehicle towed.

At 7;42 p.m., disturbance reported at Washington Manor. Atlantic Ambulance requested police on scene for the resident that attacked an EMT.
At 8:34 p.m., caller from King Street reported a suspicious blinking light in the sky above the Peabody Police Department. She believes that it was a UFO. After further investigation, she was advised that it was the crane in the air at the Higgins Middle School.

At 9:29 p.m., hit and run motor vehicle accident reported on Route 114 by Prospect Street.
Suspect fled in a white sedan operated by a female in her 50s with blonde, curly hair.
At 9:34 p.m., shoplifting reported at Olympia Sports. Woman with red hair stole three Under Armour sweatshirts valued at $159.97.
Friday, Dec. 5
At 1:18 a.m., graffiti reported on Prospect Street.
At 1:29 a.m., graffiti reported on Main Street.
At 5:38 a.m.,caller on Burnham Road reported that it sounded like someone was in her house. May have been animal noises.
At 8:42 a.m., minor motor vehicle accident on Andover Street.
At 8:55 a.m., vandalism reported at Amazing Superstore on Newbury Street. Shattered front door.
At 10:36 a.m., traffic hazard reported on Andover Street. Caller was concerned because there was a dead deer strapped to the front of a Black Jeep Wrangler driving on Route 114 toward the square.
At 10:51 a.m., illegal dumping investigated at Beth El Cemetery on Lowell Street. Ongoing issue with illegal dumping reported. While on the property the possible suspect arrived and fled the area in a Black GMC pickup truck with a black box in the back.
At 12:45 p.m., shoplifting reported at JCPenney. Nike and Adidas clothing was taken, approximately $750.
