Police: OUI Arrest; Shooting Seagulls; Escorting Birds

Friday, August 7

At 2:21 p.m., someone dropped an exacto knife and it stuck in their foot on Warren Street.

At 6:11 p.m., police arrested Lysa M. Elwoll, 51, of 121 Central St., in Peabody and charged her with leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, attaching plates, unregistered motor vehicle, and uninsured motor vehicle.

At 8:04 p.m., there was a report of a man with a mask and knife on Tremont Street. Police brought a child home and a sergeant spoke to his parents about his behavior.

At 11:38 a.m., a female grey and white cat was reported missing on Jackson Avenue.

At 12:57 p.m., a wallet was reported stolen on Prospect Street.

At 2:43 p.m., a large tree was blocking Lowell Street.

At 7:06 p.m., there was a report of an injured bird on Elaine Avenue. The bird was escorted to a bush.

At 8:39 p.m., police arrested Thailee S. Gonzalez, 19, of 4278 Pallas Ave. in Spring Hill, FL for assault and battery and shoplifting.

Sunday, August 9

At 2:36 a.m., police arrested Robert P. Shedd, 25 of 14 Foley Drive, North Reading and charged him with operating under the influence of liquor and speeding.

At 7:17 a.m., there was a report of a person shooting seagulls on Main Street.
