"The crime scene is very difficult right now, it’s quite messy," Essex County DA Jonathan Blodgett said. "We’re doing our best to sift through this. It takes time."
A woman ran from the house Saturday night and flagged down a driver, who brought her to State Police to report the incident, Blodgett said.
Several bystanders watched from the wet road as the bodies were removed from what appeared to be the side entrance of the house.
One man said the house was a place people would bring cars so they could be worked on.
The spacious lot had several vehicles in it.
