QUINCY, MA — A fire completely gutted a multi-family home in Quincy Sunday morning, leaving seven people without a home.
The blaze tore through the house on Copeland Street early Sunday morning. Firefighters received the call at about 5:30 a.m. Sunday and arrived to see flames shooting from the second and third-story windows, reported WHDH News 7.
“My daughter and I were asleep and I heard someone scream, ‘call 911 call 911 get out of the house’ and when I looked outside there were flames on the first floor so I ran upstairs to the third floor and grabbed my daughter and my dog and ran out,” one resident told the news station.
