Georgia's Pizza Robbed at Knifepoint

Salem Police officers are looking for a man who allegedly robbed Georgia's Pizza at knifepoint Sunday night.

At 9:16 p.m., police responded to a reported armed robbery at the Norman Street pizza shop and began searching the area for a man wearing a black jacket and jeans.

According to Lt. Scott Englehardt, an employee in the shop at the time of the robbery said a man entered through the front door wearing a mask, showed a knife and demanded money.

The man reportedly fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

Sunday's stick-up occurred less than a month after the 7-Eleven next door was allegedly robbed at gunpoint by a Peabody man.
