Pit Bulls Attack Salem Woman, Owner Arrested: Report
The owner of two pit bulls was arrested after the dogs allegedly mauled a 60-year-old Salem woman.

SALEM, MA — A Salem woman, 60, suffered severe injuries to her left hand after being allegedly mauled by two pit bulls on Ober Street in Salem Tuesday, according to a report by the Salem News.
Henry Hernandez, of Salem and the owner of the pit bulls, was later arrested and held on $25,00 bail, according to the report. The dogs were seized by animal control.
The woman told police she was walking her yellow labrador shortly after 7 p.m. when she saw two unleashed pit bulls aggressively running toward her and her dog from a Summit Street home. Hernandez told police, according to the report, that upon returning to his Summit Street home, the unleashed dogs jumped out of his car and ran at the victim.

Hernandez was charged with "assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon (reckless), to wit two pit bulls, on a person over the age of 60.
