Foul Play Not Suspected In Homeless Salem Women's Death
The women, whose identity was not released, had a history of drug problems and was living in a tent in Gallows Hill Park.

SALEM, MA -- Police said that the death of a 28-year-old homeless women found in Gallows Hill Park Wednesday morning is not considered suspicious following a preliminary investigation. The women, whose identity was not released, is known to be a member of Salem's homeless population with a history of drug problems and had been living in a tent in the park.
Police were called to the park after the woman's body was found in her tent by another homeless person. The body was found in the woods off the trail leading to the Gallows Hill water tank near Colby Street and Almeda Road.
