The Shrewsbury woman was with her brother at the Brussels airport when the bombs went off.

SHREWSBURY, MA — Maria Boisvert was sitting out a five-hour layover at the Brussels airport on Tuesday when the bombs went off that killed more than 30 people and injured hundreds.
Boisvert describes her experience to WCVB News, explaining, "It was not until that security guard started yelling that we needed to evacuate and drop all of our luggage and get out as quickly as possible that people started to panic."
Boisevert's brother was also with her at the airport. Both are safe.

There were three explosions Tuesday in Brussels, Belgium, killing more than 30 people and injuring hundreds. Bombs exploded in a transportation hub in Brussels on March 22, 2016, just four days after officials captured, in a nearby neighborhood, one of the most wanted terrorists involved in the November 2015 attacks in Paris. The Islamic State group took credit for all three explosions Tuesday.
