Boston Police arrested a Boylston Street resident for allegedly causing a disturbance at a Albany Street pharmacy on Monday.

Police responded to a call from the Boston Health Care for the Homeless around 4:30 p.m. on Monday after the building security reported a disturbance in the pharmacy area. Upon arrival, officers reportedly saw the security guard ask a man to leave the premises. During this conversation, officers reportedly observed the man using loud profanity.

The officer was reportedly struck in the mouth, but was able to subdue the suspect.

The suspect was identified as Jerry Tolbert of 39 Boylston Street. Tolbert was arrested and charged him with disorderly conduct and assault and battery on a police officer.
