Here's what a few area places have planned for New Year's Eve:
The Beehive Restaurant - 541 Tremont Street
Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, 9 p.m.
Highlights: The Beehive hosts its 6th annual New Year’s Eve gala celebration with sultry Parisian burlesque performances (by NYC’s hotties Francine “The Lucid Dream” & Essence Revealed) and sounds of Amy Lynn & The Gun Show. There will be a buffet of hors d’oeuvres and desserts and a toast a midnight. Cost: $115 with food buffet, $75 without food. See here for more information.
Boston Center for the Arts - 539 Tremont Street
Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, 9:45 p.m.
Highlights: Get a little crazy at the "Masquerave" New Year's Eve Party at the Boston Center for the Arts. There will be six different bars, music by 5 &A Dime and Aylen, as well as acclaimed local DJ's DJ AI and DJ Tao. Admission includes party favors and a champagne toast. Cost: $95. Aquitaine Restaurant - 569 Tremont Street
Monday, Dec. 31 5:30 to 11 p.m.
Highlights: Aquitaine will be having a special a la carte dinner to welcome in the new year, with choices including honey brushed pheasant, rack of lamb or diver scallops. Cost: A la carte. See here for more information.
B&G Oysters - 550 Tremont Street
Monday, Dec. 31, 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Highlights: Fresh fish,oysters, lobster and plenty of bubbles with the option of a five-course prix fixe menu or their regular a la carte menu. Cost: $75, a la carte. See here for more information.

Monday, Dec. 31, 5 - 11 p.m.
Highlights: A special four-course dinner menu including choices of roasted lobster pizza or rack of lamb, to name a few. Cost: $60. See here for more information.

Monday, Dec. 31, 5 - 11 p.m.
Highlights: Gaslight will be celebrating New Year's with a list of a la carte items to go with their regular menu, including roasted rack of lamb, and petite filet mignon. Cost: A la carte.
Metropolis Cafe - 584 Tremont Street
Monday, Dec. 31, 5:30 to 10 p.m.
Highlights: Special menu items, including a roasted veal chop and a pepper-crusted swordfish steak, along with the regular menu. Cost: A la carte. See here for more information.

Monday, Dec. 31, 8:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Highlights: A New Year's Eve party with music, hor d'oeuvres, ra aw bar, pitchers of wine, paella station, a midnight cava toast, and an early breakfast. Cost: $100. See here for more information.
