Boston Police arrested a Dorchester woman on Wednesday morning for allegedly dealing drugs on Massachusetts Avenue in the South End.

Police said that at around 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday, officers observed Lisa Craig, 45, of 31 Regina Rd. in Dorchester pass out pills to two people near 801 Massachusetts Ave. Police said that when a security guard from a nearby parking garage tried to approach her, Craig fled the area.

Upon police questioning, Craig allegedly denied having any pills and told police she had just come from a Dunkin Donuts and that she had been counting pills with her friends.

However, upon a search, police reportedly discovered two pill bottles with Craig's name on them, one of which had eight pills missing.

Police also discovered Craig had two previous warrants out for her arrest, including shoplifting.

Craig was arrested and charged with possession of a Class E substance with intent to distribute, and larceny of $50 to $199.
