Marilyn (Mynahan) Fiske

Marilyn Mynahan Fiske, age 64, of Abington, formerly of Lynn, died Thursday, November 22, 2012 at Boston Medical Center. At the time of her death, she was a teacher at the Gibbons Elementary School in the Stoughton. She had worked for over 27 years as a reading/literacy specialist in the Stoughton Schools.

She was the daughter of the late William "Stanny" Mynahan and Muriel Mynahan of Lynn.

Marilyn was a graduate of St. Mary's High School, Lynn, Class of 1964. She went on to study at Emmanuel College and later completed her Master's Degree, in Reading, from Northeastern University.

Her greatest joy came from her two granddaughters, Ema & Bella Fiske.

Marilyn will always be remembered for her generous heart and love for her family and work. She will be sadly missed and happily remembered by all who knew her.

In addition to her mother and granddaughters, Marilyn is survived by her son, Daren Fiske and Sarah and her daughter, Jamie Fiske. She is also survived by her three sisters: Kathy Davies and David of Nova Scotia, Canada, Maureen Stanton of Rochester, NY and Chris Grasso and Dom of Hanson, MA, along with 10 nieces and nephews.

Marilyn's Funeral Service were held in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home in Lynn on Nov. 28, followed by a burial iat St. Mary's Cemetery in Lynn.

In lieu of flowers, her family and friends may make donations to the Mrs. Fiske Reading Fund c/o Principal Lynne Jardin, Gibbons School 235 Morton St. Stoughton, MA 02072. Checks can be made out directly to The Mrs. Fiske Reading Fund.

Michael J. LaCivita

Michael J. "Mick" LaCivita, 89, died Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at his home in Stoughton. He was the husband of the late Margaret M. (Hickey) LaCivita.

Born in Stoughton, he was a longtime resident of Stoughton. He attended Stoughton Schools and was a graduate of Boston Trade School. Mr. LaCivita was a Technician 5th Grade in the US Army, serving in the 3rd Armored Division and a Veteran of World War II.

He worked for several area shops including Mitchell & Sons Plumbing, Savini Sand & Gravel, Phillips Plastics in Canton and was a partner in the LaCivita Combining Company in Easton.

He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW both in Stoughton. As a young man, Mr. LaCivita enjoyed boxing and was a sparring partner of Rocky Marciano. In his free time, he enjoyed reading, carpentry and writing poetry.

Mr. LaCivita was the father of Kevin F. LaCivita of Brockton, Patrick A. LaCivita of Quincy and the late Michael P. LaCivita, Francis J. LaCivita and Lynnette K. Labriola. He was the brother of Christine M. Comeau of Taunton and the late Anthony, John and Michael LaCivita, Catherine Murphy, Mary Techiera, Adeline Costa and Ann Farrington. He was the father in law of Donna LaCivita, Patty LaCivita, Barbara LaCivita and Carol LaCivita. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) in Stoughton on Tuesday, December 4 at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Stoughton.

Leonard Melvin Mann

Leonard "Lenny" Melvin Mann, of Stoughton, passed away November 27, 2012 at the age of 81.

He was the former owner of White City Cleaners in Jamaica Plain and Forest Hills.

Beloved husband of Zena (Ginsberg) Mann. Devoted father of Steven Mann and his wife Susan of Waltham; Kenneth Mann and his wife Mary of Hopkinton; and Robert Mann and his wife Wendy of Easton.

Loving brother of Roslyn Taylor of CT; Albert Mann and his wife Betty of CA; and the late Celia Mazur, Betty Levine and Ethel Meyers. Cherished grandfather of Julia, Emma, Anna, Michael, Jeffrey, Lindsey, Colleen and Ryan.

Services were held at the Stanetsky Memorial Chapel in Canton on Friday November 30, 2012. Interment followed at Sharon Memorial Park.

Sharon Ann (Repucci) Goodine

Sharon Ann (Repucci) Goodine, 61, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly at Norwood Hospital on Thursday, November 29.

Daughter of Rosemarie (Affanato) Repucci of Mansfield and the late Edmund Repucci, she was born in Boston and educated in Milton, Norwood and Dedham schools. She graduated from Dedham High School, Class of 1969.

Sharon was a resident of Stoughton for the past 40 years. She volunteered at Stoughton Council on Aging for several years. She was active at Masterpiece Praise and Worship International in Canton. Sharon enjoyed making jewelry, knitting, ceramics, spending time with children and her family.

In addition to her mother, Sharon is survived by her sons, Michael E. Willard of Stoughton and Craig L. Goodine of Canton and her sister, Janice Salamone and her husband Joseph of Middleboro. She was the aunt of Derek Parker and Debra Parker and great-aunt of Kyle Parker and Brayden Statkiewicz. She was the former wife of Parker Willard of Dedham.

Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Tuesday, December 4 at 11 a.m. Visiting Hours will be Monday, December 3 from 4-8 p.m. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.

Eleanor Urciuoli

Eleanor R. Urciuoli, 96, died at the Copley at Stoughton Nursing Home in Stoughton on Friday, November 23. She was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Antoinette Urciuoli.

Born in Stoughton, she was a lifelong resident of Stoughton and a graduate of Stoughton schools. Miss Urciuoli was a textile worker for JW Wood in Stoughton for many years. She was a member of the Minerva Lodge in Stoughton. She was also a member of the Mass. Catholic Women's Guild at Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton and the Catholic Order of Foresters.

In her free time she enjoyed traveling and had visited Italy, China and many other countries.

Miss Urciuoli is survived by her sister, Rose T. Urciuoli of Stoughton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Sebastian "Pat", Carmen, Charles, Arthur, Ernest and Mary Urciuoli.

Funeral was held from the Farley Funeral Home in Stoughton on Thursday, November 29, followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial took place at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.

Betty A. (Forsberg) Sullivan

Betty A. (Forsberg) Sullivan, 68, of Stoughton, died Sunday, November 25, at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a period of failing health. She was the wife of 36 years of Charles F. Sullivan.

Born in Brockton, she was raised and educated in Brockton and was a graduate of Cardinal Spellman High School in Brockton. She worked as a Secretary and Accounts Payable Clerk for Pharmerica in Brockton for over 28 years, retiring 7 years ago.

In her free time, she enjoyed reading, listening to Frank Sinatra and working around her house.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sister, Patricia Woods of FL; her nephew Michael Woods and his wife Melissa of Taunton; her nephew Jason Woods of Taunton; her niece Angela Woods of FL; and her aunt and godmother Catherine DeRito. She is also survived by several aunts, cousins, and great nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Bub.

Funeral prayers were offered at the Farley Funeral Home in Stoughton on Thursday, November 29. Interment took place at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
