Three men are facing drug charges after allegedly making a heroin deal in the bathroom of a Braintree restaurant, say police.
George T, Daher, 35, of Stoughton, Divanny M. Cabral, 21, of Hyde Park, and Juan F. Pena, 21, of Boston, were arrested on Tuesday afternoon, June 3.
Detectives were conducting surveillance in the area of the South Shore Plaza in response to complaints of drug activity when they saw two cars, a black Mercedes and a brown Honda Civic, moving in a suspicious manner.
Police say the cars headed together toward South Braintree Square, where they pulled into the lot of a restaurant there. All three headed into the restaurant, where they immediately went to the restroom together. Seconds later, Daher came out of the bathroom and left the restaurant. Pena and Cabral left a short time later, and police then stopped all three.
Detectives searched and found drugs in both cars, as well as $411 on Pena.
Pena and Cabral were arrested and charged with distribution of heroin and conspiracy to violate the drug laws. Daher was arrested and charged with possession of heroin and conspiracy to violate the drug laws.
