Information Sought in Concord Road Hit and Run
Police are asking anyone who may have been in the area or who may have been involved to call them.
Sudbury Police Lt. Robert Grady said that a woman called to report that while crossing in the crosswalk on Concord Road just after 12 p.m. on Monday
The woman reported that a black SUV filled with several teenagers clipped her, causing her to fall to the ground. She was unable to see a license plate number or exact model of the vehicle.
Grady said the woman did not call police until a little more than an hour after was struck, so officers were unable to locate any witnesses. No 911 calls or calls to the police business number came in from the area following the incident. The woman declined medical treatement.
"It may just be a case that someone was driving in the area, and they don't even know they struck the pedestrian," said Grady. "So we're asking people to think back, and contact us if they may have been in the area at that time."
