SWAMPSCOTT, MA — A call firefighter in Nahant had his Swampscott home significantly damaged in a fire Wednesday night. Matt Videtta's family had lived in the home for years.

Videtta's family lost many belongings and were forced to relocate. A GoFundMe was started for them.

As of late Thursday night, the fundraiser had nearly doubled its $2,000 goal.
