Allegedly Impaired Driver Arrested for Obstructing Emergency Vehicle

Allegedly Impaired Driver Arrested for Obstructing Emergency Vehicle

Arrests

On Saturday, Feb. 8, at 2:05 a.m. police stopped a vehicle on Whipple Road for speeding, and the officer called for back up. Caitlin E. Mahoney, 26, of 41 Lincoln Road, Tewksbury, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, speeding, willfully obstructing an emergency vehicle and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

On Saturday, Feb. 8, at 3:32 a.m. a 911 call came into dispatch for a motor vehicle that crashed into a tree on East Street. Patrick G. Mallon, 35, of 130 Leicester Street, Tewksbury, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of drugs, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violation.

On Saturday, Feb. 8, at 11:59 a.m. Home Depot requested an officer for one person in custody for shoplifting. Justin G. Mercer, 33, of 955 Main Street Apt. A, Tewksbury, was arrested and charged with larceny over $250, possession to distribute Class C drugs and possession of Class B drugs.

On Saturday, Feb. 8, at 7:19 p.m. officers at Extended Stay America arrested Andre P. Rodriguez, 32, of 99 Salem Street, Lowell. Rodriguez was charged with distributing Class D drugs and possession to distribute Class D drugs.

On Saturday, Feb. 8, at 8:39 p.m. loss prevention at Wal-Mart reported a shoplifter. Police arrested Brian E. Nutter, 31, of 892 Lakeview Ave., Lowell, and charged him with shoplifting by asportation, possession of Class C drugs, and possession of Class E drugs.

At 2:48 p.m. a woman at Extended Stay America reported that her spare tire hard cover was stolen from her vehicle.
