Wakefield at the Boston Marathon Finish Line: Town Runner Results

WAKEFIELD, MA — Whether you're in the elite group, or crossing at a slow clip near the end of the day, it's a huge accomplishment to complete the Boston Marathon.

On Monday, April 18, 30,000 runners took off from the Hopkinton start line on the 26.2 mile course to Boston. Gavin Macbeath was Wakefield's fastest runner, clocking a time of 03:18:40.

Heather Lane was Wakefield's fastest female runner, finishing in 3:31:13
