Waltham High Fails to Make US News & World Report’s Rankings

US News & World Report released its annual list of the nation’s top high schools Tuesday and Waltham High School failed to make the cut.

The publication’s rankings included the top 63 high schools in Massachusetts, about the top 2,000 nationally.

From the rankings:

“At Waltham High School, students have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement course work and exams. The AP participation rate at Waltham High School is 30 percent. The student body makeup is 51 percent male and 49 percent female, and the total minority enrollment is 48 percent.”

3. Belmont High School
4. Wellesley High School
5. The Bromfield School (Harvard)
6. Mystic Valley Regional Charter School (Malden)
