Korynne Bolt, a senior in cello performance at Boston University, organized the concert in response to the attacks on the Boston Marathon, which personally affected the BU community. “My colleagues and I are gratified to be able to use our skills to help our city recover and support the victims of the bombing,” she says. “We feel the need to do something to help, and believe that sharing our music is a powerful way to demonstrate resilience and hope for the people of Boston.”
