Wayland's Getting a Tech Upgrade

Wayland’s engaged McGladrey LLP of Boston to develop a three-year information technology master plan for the town. It’ll give “strategic direction in equipping community members and employees with innovative, secure and cost-effective technologies that support the Town and School Department’s operational, administrative and educational initiatives.”

According to the announcement (which can be read here), the project deliverable is a three-year information technology roadmap to augment existing investments; facilitate informed decision making on current and future initiatives; align capital and annual expenditures to needs; and support the expectations of the Town’s employees and citizens at large.
