Spring/Summer Registration ongoing at Wellesley Rec!

Spring and Summer class, program and camp registration is in full swing at Wellesley Recreation! The brochure was mailed out to all households in town this week and should be showing up in mailboxes any day now.


Please note that the Spring session did start this week, but a number of classes have pushed back their start date. Please contact the office or refer to our Web site to see if your favorite class has a new start date.


Here is information on some classes starting in the coming days. For a full rundown of all our classes and to register,  please visit our Web site at www.wellesleyma.gov/recreation. NEW classes at Tenacre!

We'll focus on traditional games such as T-Ball, soccer, hockey and basketball, and add outside-the-box games such as Builders & Bulldozers, Messy Backyard and Powerball.

CrossFit Kids

CrossFit Kids is a strength and conditioning program that is specifically designed for kids to help them develop a lifelong love of fitness.

Ages 5-12



Learn how flowers grow and dig for worms and other creatures under the soil.  Investigate birds building their new nests and hop with frogs to vernal pools.



9:30 & 10:30 AM

Ages 2-5



This Elite Archers Jr./Sr. Olympic Training program focuses on safety and proper form. All necessary equipment, from protective devices to targets and bows & arrows, are provided.



3:30 PM

Ages 8- 17 


Sense-ational Science

We'll learn about electricity; investigate the powers of magnets; learn about optics, reflection and sight; and uncover the hidden components in ordinary light. We'll also explore the healthy and exciting world of nutrition; discover sound and sound waves; experiment with our taste sensations; and learn about the properties of heat.

Lego Star Wars

Maybe you will build a Star Wars Space Craft, a Droid Factory, a Jedi Training Arena, etc ... the possibilities are endless!!! The LEGOs stay with us, but the experience is yours forever!

American Girl Doll

Bring your special friend (does not have to be an American Girl Doll - feel free to bring a favorite stuffed animal if you choose) to this workshop for several hours you will both enjoy!  Each participant will create a sleeping bag, pillow and slumber party play food.
