The Dedham American Legion Band, Post 18, in their 2nd Season, performed at The Memorial Day Ceremony in Bourne on Sunday, May 25th.  It was their 3rd time being in Bourne and was the 17th performance of this young band.
 
The Dedham American Legion Band, Post 18 is a  volunteer band founded in October of 2012 by David Zablatsky, Jeanette Berger and Dick Goguen. The band’s mission is to promote patriotism, the  US military and Veterans’ organizations. This goal is achieved through serving the  local communities by providing live music for various venues while providing opportunity for personnel and musical growth of its members. The membership consists of  men and  women who enjoy music. The Band is  seeking musicians, color guard and support members, middle  school age and above.  Openings exist in all sections. No auditions necessary. Uniforms, music, percussion, sousaphones provided. Other instruments can be provided as well. American Legion  eligibility is not required.
