Man Injured By Pellet Gun Shooter

The suspect wore a ski mask and a gray hoodie, police say.

Man Injured By Pellet Gun Shooter

A man "wearing a ski mask and a gray hoodie" shot a 64-year-old man with a pellet gun three times -- "twice in the face and once on the elbow" near the Sapporo Korean BBQ and Sushi Restaurant on Sunday night, Police Chief Alan Gordon said today.

The victim had driven to the parking lot at 50 East Main St. and was walking toward Sapporo's when the suspect approached him, Gordon said in a press release.

"The suspect said something to the victim which was inaudible. The suspect then fired three shots from a pellet gun, striking the victim twice in the face and once on the elbow," before walking toward Willow Street, Gordon said.

Police and a State Police K-9 searched the area, and found nothing, Gordon said.

Police were called to the scene about 10:22 p.m.

Westborough Fire Department paramedics treated the victim at the scene, Gordon said.

The suspect is a slim male, about 5-foot-10, Gordon said.

Westborough Police Detectuve Sgt. Glenn McLeod and Detective Steven Tompkins are investigating the incident.
