A Concert at Holy Name Celebrating Nature and More

At the Harpoon Brewery, 306 Northern Ave., Boston, for the St. Boniface Haiti Foundation (SBHF) private tasting on Thursday, April 7 at 5:30 p.m.. Tickets are $10 and all proceeds go to benefit SBHF and their work in Haiti. Admission price includes all-you-can-taste beer, entry into a Harpoon raffle for cases of beer, t-shirts and other prizes. On Thursday, April 7 at the beginning at 6:30 p.m., refreshments and a reception for members of the will kick-off this event.

At 7 p.m. former National Book Award Winner and author of The Widower's Tale, Julia Glass will lecture and be available for book signing.

 

On Saturday, April 9 at 10:30 a.m., the offers visitors a new way to see the Arboretum. Guided tours begin at the Hunnewell Building and run between 60 to 90 minutes and are geared towards adults.

Registration is not required.

 

On Sunday, April 10 at 4 p.m. at in West Roxbury, the Dedham Choral Society invites all to attend a spring concert "For the Beauty of the Earth" Music in Celebration of Nature.

The performance will integrate world music with songs from the wild to celebrate the whole earth as a sacred space. 

The music is uplifting and will move you... Come hear an amazing concert in the beautiful space of Holy Name Church.

On Friday, April 8 at 7:30 p.m. at the in Jamaica Plain, the Chapter and Verse poets Susan Nissenbaum Becker, Vincent Dorio, and John Hodgen read from their work.  The readings are followed by a reception  where you can meet the authors, purchase their books, and have them autographed.
