RE/MAX of New England Provides Agents With Hands-On Regional Training Opportunities

Natick, MA – February 3, 2014 – RE/MAX of New England is the only major real estate organization in New England with a dedicated support office that provides educational, training and networking opportunities to its associates at the local level.

“RE/MAX sells more real estate than any other real estate brand and we attribute that to the education and training we provide to our Agents,” said Dan Breault, Executive Vice President and Regional Director of RE/MAX of New England. “RE/MAX of New England is singularly focused on supporting the growth of our Broker/Owners and their Agents and that is what makes us so unique.”

RE/MAX of New England provides their network of associates throughout the region with access to dedicated technology trainers. Sarah Westney, RE/MAX of New England Manager of Technology Training and Development, leads this program focusing on training Agents from across New England to cultivate leads from acceptance through close transactions, as well as providing technology products that deliver programs that simplify and enhance Agent’s businesses.

In 2013, RE/MAX of New England associates who participated in RE/MAX training courses increased their average leads by 101%.  The region’s Winning Big with LeadStreet contest in which Agents competed against each other to close the most internet leads resulted in more than 580 closed transactions. Westney and her team also hosted 10 LeadStreet Boot Camp programs from Maine to Connecticut, training more than 250 RE/MAX associates.

“In addition to the local face-to-face training that we facilitate across New England, our Agents also have access to a multitude of training resources through RE/MAX University,” said Sarah Westney, Manager of Technology Training and Development.  “These resources are available to our Agents 24 hours a day, 7 days per week via on-line streaming video.”

RE/MAX of New England is in good company in its training efforts this year as RE/MAX University (RU) was recently recognized as one of the best among corporate-sponsored training programs for the third consecutive year, capturing a place on Training magazine’s Top 125 list. RU is a proprietary online resource that offers on-demand 24/7 access to training opportunities for more than 90,000 RE/MAX Affiliates around the world, delivering HD quality video programs and online training for viewing on multiple devices, and most programs are available at no cost.
