Flags to be Handed out Along Crosby Funeral Route

As a funeral procession makes its through the streets of Wilmington Wednesday morning for Christopher Crosby, scores of community members, as well as friends and family of the fallen soldier will be showing their support by waving American flags.

Sarah Keller-Linkins, executive director for the Military Friends Foundation, and Lou Cimaglia, director of the Department of Veterans Services in Wilmington, have related that hand-held flags will be handed out along the funeral route on Middlesex Avenue. The flags will come courtesy of Military Friends, a non-profit that provides services to military families and families of fallen service members.

A Christian Mass tomorrow morning at 10 a.m., followed by interment at Wildwood Cemetery.
