Have You Seen the Bald Eagle Spotted Around Wilmington?

If you haven't, you're in luck. Some residents have and thanks to social media have been sharing both images and video.

WILMINGTON, MA - Here’s something you don’t see every day -- a bald eagle right here in Wilmington.

Several residents have spotted the amazing creature around town the past several days and have captured some incredible photos that have been shared on social media.

Wildlife of Wilmington shared some images they received on its Facebook page (click on the link for even more photos). These were taken on Jacquith Road.

Bald eagle sightings have been on the increase in Massachusetts over the past two decades according to the U.S. Division of Fisheries and Wildlife. A page has even been created to share sighting information throughout Massachusetts. You can check it out here.
