No Injuries Reported In Three-Alarm, Wilmington Fire

An investigation suggests the fire started in the yard before spreading tto the house.

WILMINGTON, MA -- There were no injuries after a three-alarm, overnight fire at a Nassau Avenue home in Wilmington. There were four people in the house when the fire started, but all were able to get out safely. At least six fire companies responded to fight the fire.

Fire officials said a preliminary investigation shows that the fire may have been caused by an electrical malfunction in a hot tub in the yard. The majority of the damage was consolidated in the garage and a living area over the garage, with extensive smoke damage in the main portion of the road.
