FASTSIGNS going strong after 20 years in Woburn

Cummings Properties presents client firm with commemorative chair

WOBURN, January 9, 2015 – FASTSIGNS® moved to 400 West Cummings Park, Suite 1975 in 1994. Twenty years later, business is booming at the same Cummings Properties location – so much so that the sign company doubled its space in October 2014, moving down the hall into 2,592 square feet in Suite 1850.

Cummings Properties account manager Robb LaBossiere and founder Bill Cummings visited FASTSIGNS co-owners Dan and Sean Shah during Christmas week to present them with a commemorative captain’s chair as a thank you for their long tenancy. The chair is prominently displayed in their front lobby.

“It is a pleasure to work with FASTSIGNS,” said LaBossiere. “Through hard work and excellent customer service, the company has grown considerably over the years.”

“If you are looking for a good address, Cummings is it,” said Sean Shah. “With its mix of small and large businesses of all types, Washington Street is the place to be.”

Shah said that 80 percent of his business is repeat business, which is what sustains the company.

“Someone calls because they need a sign, but it’s really about the relationship,” says Shah. “They are greeted by a human being, not a machine; they get a quick response, and their needs are met.”

The other 20 percent of business comes from new clients. Shah noted that, after 20 years at West Cummings Park, partnerships with other Cummings’ clients have helped the business to grow.

“The referrals are nice. It’s been a good ride so far,” he said.
