Why Go: A trio of popular national comics will be swinging through Woburn Friday night. Jim Lauletta, Jimmy "PJ" Walsh, and Chris Cameron will provide hours of laughs from 6:30 p.m. on at the Crestview.

Why Go: Come on down to the Commons tonight in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. The annual road race will kick off along with opportunities to learn about how to help fight the disease. For more information, visit the somewhat scandalously named www.­Tanne­rTaTas.­org.

Why Go: Put on your lederhosen and turn up the polka, Octoberfest is coming to Woburn! Family fun with live band "King Ludwig’s Bavarian Band," beer and traditional German fare.

Why Go: Come join the Sea Dog Brewing Company as they host this BBQ for the Pats. This event will feature a wing eating contest, BBQ challenges and family-fun.
