Grab your poodle skirt, bobby socks and Mary Jane shoes, it's time for lunch or dinner at UJ's Cafe—a 1950s style diner at Mr. Charlies in North Woburn.
Mr. Charlie's is already a popular ice cream destination in North Woburn. On Friday, Sept. 2, they added the UJ's Cafe.
"It was always my dad's dream to have a 50's style diner," said Kelly McSheffrey.
The cafe is named after McSheffrey's Uncle John, and Mr. Charlie's is named for one of her other uncles.
UJ's Cafe will serve up burgers, hot dogs and speciality sandwiches, including Philly Cheesesteaks.
The eatery is open Monday through Sundays, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
