At 1:17 p.m., a Woburn resident reported fraud. She said she answered an email by a person claiming to be from Bank of America. She said she may have provided her social security number. She later found someone used her Bank of America account for nearly $600. Police took a report.
Saturday, March 22
At 2:46 a.m., police responded to the South End Italian Club on Fowle Street after a door was smashed. Police found out that there was a fight outside the club involving patrons at closing. A woman reportedly kicked the door at that time and smashed the glass. The fight continued into Winchester and Winchester Police arrested two women. Woburn Police plan to summons a Winchester woman to court for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (a shod food).
Sunday, March 23
At 2:38 p.m., police summonsed a 27-year-old Middleton woman to court and charged her with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Police summonsed the woman during a motor vehicle stop on Washington Street.
At 3:07 p.m., an employee at Walgreens on Main Street called police about a man who tried to steal four Venus women’s shaving kits and two cans of hair spray. The man, who reportedly shoplifted from the store in the past, put the items in his jacket. When the man noticed he was being watched, the employee said the man put the items onto a shelf and left the store.
At 3:21 p.m., police responded to Nashua Street after a report of a stolen electrical meter. The homeowner said that the electric meter was stolen and power to his residence was cut.
At 5:12 p.m., a Woburn resident reported that someone used her Bank of America card to purchase more than $100 worth of items at three different Woburn Mall stores. She said her debit card was stolen at the mall.
