At 8:34 a.m., police responded to a car accident at Salem Street and Wildwood Avenue. One driver was taken to Lahey Clinic and his car was towed.
At 12:54 p.m., a Woburn resident reported that someone filed a tax return using her information.
At 1:15 p.m., a Woburn man said someone used his name and bank account to write fraudulent checks. He said checks were cashed for $1,500 and $1,350 in California.
At 4:19 p.m., police responded to a car accident on Washington Street. One driver was cited for failing to use caution.
Friday, April 18
At 4:10 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Mishawum Road. There were no injuries. One car was towed.
At 5:57 p.m., police arrested Audrey Ann Amaro, 36, 6 Kimball Court, Apt. G12, and charged her on a warrant for two counts of assault and battery, violating an abuse prevention order, assault and battery on a person more than 60 years old/disabled, unarmed robbery of a person more than 60 years old/disabled, trespassing, malicious destruction of property less than $250 and intimidating a witness.
At 6:25 p.m., an employee at Toys R Us reported an intoxicated woman in the store with two children. Police spoke to the woman, who was sitting on the floor and going through her purse at a register. She said her stomach was bothering her and it might have been a reaction to medication. Police asked the woman to call her husband to pick up the children. The woman was taken to Lahey Clinic. Police notified the Department of Children and Families about the incident.
At 9:04 p.m., police arrested Ronald Scott Mastropietro, 27, 27A Union St., Woburn, and charged him on two warrants for larceny more than $250.
Saturday, April 19
At 8:52 p.m., police arrested Heather Anne Tortorici, 40, 116 Main St., Woburn, and charged her with disturbing the peace. Police made the arrest after a report of people arguing on Lexington Street. While police spoke to her, the Woburn woman allegedly yelled, screamed and refused to quiet down. Police made the arrest.
