Body Found on Train Tracks in Worcester; Not 'Suspicious'
Police are investigating the discovery of a dead body on the tracks in Worcester Monday night.

WORCESTER, MA — Police say the death of a person whose body was found on the train tracks in Worcester Monday night does not appear suspicious.
Massachusetts State Police are investigating the incident of a death in which the body lay between the train tracks near Worcester station, reports NECN.
Police told NECN that an Amtrak engineer spotted the body.

Multiple online scanner alerts indicated that the body was discovered around 10 p.m., and was found near Oread Street.
The MBTA reported that train 535, which left at 6:40 p.m. outbound, was delayed between Newtonville and Worcester due to police activity.
